My recent stay at Treebo Comforts Inn in Deralakatte left me with mixed feelings. While the hotel initially struck me as modest from the outside, stepping in revealed a surprisingly clean and well-organized space. The staff could use a bit more training; One reception employee was rather abrasive, yet another, Vinod, saved the day with his polite demeanor and assistance. The breakfast spread was delightful, offering both continental and à la carte options, which our family enjoyed. Being a traveler from Toronto familiar with the importance of cleanliness-especially when traveling with kids-I appreciated seeing the staff diligently cleaning the common areas during our checkout. It's crucial for hotels to ensure that rooms are ready to welcome guests, as I had to scramble for accommodation late at night. If you're searching for a practical base with decent amenities and staff who generally care, Treebo Comforts Inn has potential but could greatly improve on the service.
